July Update!


Hello! Thank you everyone for supporting my game. Just checking in on itch.io!

It's going pretty well and I recently "design locked" the content. So everything that will be in the final game can be played and works mechanically, but without art and polish. There's a lot of it, too! Over 200 spells, 66 badges, some pretty big secrets to find...

I'm not confident enough to announce a release date or anything, and there is still a lot to do with controller support, collections screen, achievements (for the Steam build), etc.

I do want to drop an updated demo build , just so it has parity with the main branch, but I am waiting for translation and have some bugs to squash first. But it does annoy me playing this old version where every enemy has a reaction, the bosses are so tanky, and that the "Fast Food" Badge inflicts Chill! Absurd! It should heal you instead.

I haven't been keeping quiet about development! I've just been posting about it in places nobody visits! If you would like more regular updates. I often post random quick things on cohost and a weekly-ish update over on Patreon. Most of my Patreon posts end up public so there is a backlog, and the only real perk I offer is you get to be in the credits.

I'd also like to do something of a media round up. Honestly there has been a lot of coverage of Witching Stone and I've watched and enjoyed all of it. But I'm just going to link some stuff! If you made something and it isn't here I'm sorry! Link it below or in the main comments. 🙏
